About Dancing Eyes
Dancing Eyes is a cancelled HD remaster of Namco's 1996 arcade puzzle game, developed for PlayStation 3 with planned PlayStation Move support. Like the original, players would guide a small monkey across a tile-based grid wrapped around 3D objects and characters, removing tiles in the style of classic arcade title Qix, gradually stripping away layers of clothing in the process. Announced in 2011, the project went quiet shortly after reveal and was officially cancelled in April 2012, with Bandai Namco citing "various circumstances." A prototype build was later discovered and preserved in 2025.
