About Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
A Game Boy adaptation of the 1991 film, featuring multiple gameplay modes including overhead exploration, one-on-one side-view duels, large-scale melee battles, and horse racing sequences. Players guide Robin Hood through missions as he builds his band of outlaws and fights to free England from the Sheriff of Nottingham.
Robin Hood escapes from an Arab prison in Jerusalem with his companion Azeem and returns to England, only to discover his father has been murdered and the Sheriff of Nottingham rules the land through tyranny while King Richard is away. Robin retreats to Sherwood Forest, rallies a band of outlaws, and undertakes a series of missions to undermine the Sheriff's grip on the country.
